Family Outreach Center is able to upgrade their offices

Family Outreach Center was created due to the need to better serve the residents of the inner city and historically underserved populations in Grand Rapids and the surrounding areas in Kent County.

The center is committed to building stronger families by providing high-quality behavioral health services, regardless of ability to pay. They especially focus their efforts on low-income, under insured, and uninsured families and children. Family Outreach Center serves nearly an exclusive Medicaid population and have remained in the Urban Core neighborhood because that is where their mission lies.

Utilizing furniture and decorative goods from the StoreHouse, they were able to upgrade their offices and ensure that clients experience the same environment as other behavioral health clinics.
