Exodus Place makes good use of Mini Refrigerators

The Exodus Place is a transitional housing facility for men. We work to help men in the Grand Rapids area experiencing housing instability obtain housing and financial security. While living at Exodus Place, the men are able to have various appliances in their room to make their stay more comfortable and make their room feel more like home. We often get mini refrigerators from The StoreHouse that the men use to keep delicious snacks or even temperature sensitive medication in.

This is Chris, he came to us after a tornado ravaged his home and left him paralyzed. He is currently working at the front desk at Exodus Place and he does an incredible job helping other members, staff, and guests. Throughout his stay at Exodus Place he has earned points via our points reward system that he was able to exchange for a mini refrigerator. He plans to store fresh fruits and vegetables in his refrigerator so he always has access to healthy snacks. He also plans to keep frozen treats in the freezer to stay cool for the upcoming summer!
