About Us

Welcome to Storehouse, your resource for connecting corporate product donations and nonprofits in need. Through efficient, established systems, we receive and redistribute donated corporate goods to hundreds of nonprofits and schools with specific, identified needs.

Our Story & Timeline

  1. 2010

One of The Storehouse’s founders, Jessica, visualized a pantry operated by the people who also utilized the products. She started a 75 square foot pantry inside Frontline Community Church, where approximately $1,000 of donated hygiene products were distributed in the first year.

  2. 2011 - 2015

The pantry continued operating in this way until Jessica met The Storehouse’s co-founder, Nora. They realized there was potential for the broader community to be served by combining Jessica’s passions with Nora’s entrepreneurial background.

They formed a team to research gaps in community services, and began to dream of a community center to connect unmet needs with those looking for a way out.

  3. 2016

The Storehouse obtained a 501(c)3 certification and became an independent entity able to be self-governed.

After exploring many opportunities, WorldVision was welcomed as a product Sponsor and began sending shipments including not only hygiene products, but also household and school supplies. Frontline continued its support and became a Sponsor through the provision
of a 20,000 square foot warehouse space.

Our Mission

To reduce the impact of poverty in Michigan by connecting corporate product donations with nonprofit organizations so that in-demand goods can be efficiently distributed to those who need them most.

Our Vision

A community where no one is left behind and essential resources are consistently redistributed to nonprofits who serve those in need.

In Malachi 3:10, God promises great blessings for those that give generously and fill his storehouse. He declares that this overflow of blessings will be so great, that there will be no more need.

Our Sponsors

Our sponsors are the foundation of who we are and enable us to make a lasting impact on individuals and families in need throughout Michigan. Our sponsors direct nationally sourced products to our warehouse in Michigan, and provide targeted support in other key areas.

Our Corporate Partners

Our corporate partners are donors, who, through product or financial donations, desire to support hundreds of nonprofits with their donation. Clothing, hygiene products, books, toys, technology, school supplies, tools, appliances and furniture are just a few of the necessities that bolster nonprofits, so they can focus their resources on their mission and programs.

Lana Duoibes

Calvary Church

I started coming to shop in the Storehouse in 2017-2018 as a volunteer, and was drawn to see the impact of the Storehouse in the community and especially to the refugee families whom are under the church and in the community. I am looking forward to seeing how the impact of the Storehouse would grow to serve more people in my ministry. I come across many organizations and churches whom I believe would benefit from the Storehouse and the variety of products. There is a lot for me to learn, and I think once I get a clearer picture of what my role is, I can be more productive.

God is inviting us to walk with Him, showing mercy, practicing hospitality and communicating the Gospel message to the refugee families and individuals whom are placed in our paths.

Lana currently serves as the Associate Director of Refugee & Short-Term Ministries at Calvary Church.
